In late 1944 18-year-old Hungarian András Toma was force-drafted by German troops and disappeared. He was 74 when he was miraculously found in Russia 56 years later. He had spent all those years in captivity! First as a POW and then, completely forgotten, as an inmate in an asylum and under quite similar circumstances.
